Thank you very much Gillena for you kind words! This haiga is the third reincarnation and not the original one. First it was Debi Bender who provided my haiku in the 2000s (remember her?) with her graphics. In the second one, it was a picture of a setting sun with silhouettes of coconut trees.

this is realy nice but it would be nice if the credits were smaller and maybe in the frame..I like to hide my name somewhere and make people look for it so it doesnt distract fromn the simple beuty of the picture...Bonnie and all say hello and much aloha to yo dear friend...

Mahalo Shanna. Thank you very much for your thoughtful comments. Please tell Bonnie to send me a picture, how about dancing whales? to which I can maybe put a poem on it.

I hope there's no more tsunami scare there.

Aloha,

Right on target, I am an expat myself here in Qatar. For me these three lines have more than a hundred stories to tell

Thank you Ronald very much and I appreciate your kind comments. I consider myself as a citizen of the world, yet sometimes I cannot help but think of a place where I grew up. Like what Dr. Jose Rizal said, "Those who do not look back where he came from will not reach his destination" which translate to "Ang hindi lumingon sa pinanggalingan, di makakarating sa paruruonan."

Thank you Victor for the wonderful haiku! I posted it on my FB wall, with smaller names. http://www.facebook.com/JPStudio#!/photo.php?pid=31152176&id=1308211363

Arigatou my friend!
