Before the end of this month, I reluctantly decided to upload my haiga about Hiroshima and Nagasaki which were the recipients of atomic bombs killing hundreds of thousands people, mostly civilians on August 6 and 9, 1945.
As a young student teacher 50 years ago at drama class, we enacted a very brief scene of struggling injured survivors leaving Hiroshima..with one person from outside the city looking for family members.. I have never forgotten. I still do not understand war.
Thanks Donna and Joan. I have always abhorred war and any of its guises and I still do. I have written many war poems, this is an example, and some I might upload later.

Unbelievably tragic. Maybe someday we won't war anymore.
